Paul Hamlyn Funding

Earlier this month, the Museum received confirmation of funding from the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, known for its support of innovative organisations and projects. The grant is for the creation of a Learning and Participation framework which will serve as a blueprint for the Museum’s education activity over the two-year exhibitions programme period. The research undertaken will enable us to consider best practice within other cultural organisations; issues around accessibility and different ways to explore the potential for collaboration and building on existing provision. The final report will be delivered in May 2012. We are very much looking forward to creating this document which represents a maturing of the Museum venture.
