Museum Fireworks Exhibition Ad

This month we launched our first exhibition Ad on Youtube for our 'Remember, Remember; A History of Fireworks in Britain', exhibition at Compton Verney.

We asked the director, Richard Sharples, a little about it. 'The animation combines images from 19th century engravings with photographs of artifacts from Simon Costin’s collection of folk art along with computer generated fireworks. These elements were manipulated and animated using Adobe Photoshop and After Effects. As well as generating interest in the Firework exhibition at Compton Verney the animation was also intended to develop a sense of intrigue and wonder about the broader interests of the museum. These ideas will be developed further through a series of animations planned to accompany the museums continuing exhibition program'.
