Rattle Up My Boys, Longsword Archive Exhibition

At the end of May until the end of June, the people of Sheffield and surrounding areas were able to get to see an exhibition, previously mounted in London by the MoBF, at the English Folk Dance & Song Society. Hosted by Strip the Willow, a cafe and gallery run by Trevor's daughter, Natasha Stone and her husband, the event was lively and very well attended. The opening day saw Grenoside, Handsworth and Maltby Phoenix Sword, all performing and Sue & Pete Coe were on hand with Longsword dancing lessons in the afternoon, followed by a wonderful concert in the evening, as well as Jerry Simon singing. Georgina Stone supplied specially created Longsword cakes and Elaine and Rosa Stone were also in attendance.
